Born in Wells River to Rodolphus Frizzle (ca. 1815-1893) and Harriet Webber (1818-ca. 1901). He was a harness maker by trade, and prominent citizen. He lived in numerous places in VT and NH. He served with the NH 5th Regiment (Co. I, unit 1207) during the Civil War.

He married Luella Lamphere (ca. 1847-1885) on Sep. 7, 1865, in Canaan, VT. — Children: Alice Jane "Jennie" Bigelow/Fox (1867-1924), Ellsworth E. (1873-1955), Ida Luella Weeks (1876-1954), also 7 unnamed children that died as infants.

He married Cora Lulie (Ainsworth) Whitehill on Oct. 13, 1885, in Groton, VT. — Children: William Charles (1886-1967), Ernest Elbridge (1888-1957), Frank Merton (1890-1976), Leslie Orwell (1894-1949), Allen Walter (1896-1966), also 2 stepsons.

He married Leora Louise Copp on Sep. 2, 1903, in Bath, NH. — Children: Henry Horace (1905-1979?), Eva A. (1906-), Edith Wallace/Bowles/Baraby (1910-1999).

Brother of Henry, Amos, Martha, Eliza, and Polly.

Note: He was listed as having deserted the Army, but he was out ill with typhoid fever when his regiment disbanded. He was eventually recommended to be honorably discharged.
