She was born July 25, 1927 in Florien, Lousiana to William and Lura Craft.
She worked as an accountant, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Paradise Primitive Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lura Craft, two brothers, three sisters and one grandchild, Lyndsey Manuel.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Carter of Lumberton, Texas, two daughters, Barbara Manuel and husband Lester of Lake Villa, Illinois, and Deborah Bruening and husband Michael of Flower Mound, Texas, she is also survived by four grandchildren, Rachael Manuel, Taylor Manuel, Brett Bruening and Gregory Bruening.
Funeral Services will be held Friday May 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
