Loxley Sharon Kay Wilson Burkett, 55, residing in Loxley, AL and formerly of Spanish Fort, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012. She was formerly employed by the Captain's Table Restaurant for many years where she worked as a server. She was a loving person who had a big heart and would help anyone in need. Sharon's greatest love was the time she spent with her family. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her and she loved them dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard John Wilson. Sharon is survived by her three children, Shannon (Greg Bartley) Holder, Tim Holder, and Dylan Burkett; her sisters, Pam (Andy) Popple, Pace, FL and Libby (John) Mixson, Fairhope; five grandchildren and her mother, Jimmie L. Wilson, Spanish Fort. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 25, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Officiating will be Dr. Frank Kirksey. Interment will be in Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
