Services Saturday For Mrs. Shuler
Funeral services for Mrs. Nixon E. Shuler, who died at her residence in Gonzales Tuesday, March 5, at 10:30 a.m. will be held at Seydler-Hill Chapel Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Claude F. O'Neall officiating. Interment will be in the City Cemetery.
Mrs. Shuler was born March 12, 1905 in Gonzales county. She married Nixon E. Shuler in zjune 1953 in San Antonio and the couple made their home on highway 90A West. She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors include her husband; five stepsons, George Nixon and David W. Shuler, both of San Antonio, Kenneth D. Shuler of Austin, Dr. Ronald L. Shuler of Sedalia, Mo., and Dwight P. Shuler of Houston; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Polk of Alice, Mrs. Eva Taylor of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Cleo a Van Horn of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.
