Lorena Kinney, 88, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2002, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, December 30, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, with burial in the Northlawn Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 2-8:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the Linn's Funeral Homes, Iowa Falls Chapel, with the family receiving friends between the hours of 6-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o her son: Larry Kinney, Iowa Falls, Iowa. The Linn's Funeral Homes, Iowa Falls Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Lorena M. S. Neubauer, was born on June 25, 1914 at Radcliffe, Iowa, the daughter of Carl H. and Bertha (Driefke) Neubauer. She attended the Radcliffe, Iowa Community Schools, graduating with the class of 1932. On January 14, 1937, she was united in marriage to Frank J. Kinney at Hubbard, Iowa. They farmed 46 years northwest of Alden, retiring to Iowa Falls in 1988. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls.

Lorena Kinney is survived by two sons, Charles Kinney and wife, Carol of Rochester, Minnesota and Larry Kinney and wife, Marilyn of Iowa Falls; four grandchildren, Tracy Krapfl and husband, Larry of Charter Oak, Tammy Erickson and husband, Steve of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Kinney of Elkton, Minnesota and Kris Ramsden and husband, Don of Winona, Minnesota; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon and Kayl krapfl of Charter Oak, Kylee Erickson of Cedar Rapids, Brandon, Brooke, Megan, and Montanna Kinney of Elkton, Minnesota, Renae and Hunter Ramsden of Winona, Minnesota; and two brothers, Edward Neubauer and wife, Clara of Aurora, Colorado and Walter Neubauer and wife, Alice of Iowa Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bertha Neubauer; her husband, Frank Kinney; and four sisters, Anna Olson, Agnes Daleske, Dorothea Weiler and Lydia VanDyke.
