She married Rudolph Ehrlichmann on June 8, 1884 in Chaska, Minnesota. They young couple moved to Albany, Minnesota where they bought the Henry Moonen family. They had 9 children. Rudolph was attached by a bull and died a week later. Their children were: Albert (Julia Brothcorp), Emma (August) Klimmek, Metha (Wendlin) Pimpl, Herman (Rose Vos), Bernard, Mathelia (Peter) Rausch), Selma (Albert) Solinger, and Helen (Joseph) Hawla. Emma died in infancy. She died at the home of her daughter, Selma and husband, Albert Solinger. Her funeral was held in the home at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 in the St. John's Lutheran Church, Krain Township, Minnesota. Rev. W. E. Rohe officiated the services.
