Bonita June Hill, 85 of Idaho Falls passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at her home.
She was born May 28, 1926, in Ashton to Thomas Newton Reneau and Elva Juanita Davis Reneau. She was raised and attended schools in Ashton. She then attended nurses training in Idaho Falls and Denver Colorado, and completed her internship at Riverview Hospital in Idaho Falls. She served in the US Army with the Army Nurse Corps. On November 1, 1948, she married Doil Hill in St. Anthony; to this union they added a daughter and three sons.
Bonita worked as a nurse at Idaho Falls Clinic on South Boulevard, then on Woodruff, in Idaho Falls for over 50 years. She enjoyed dancing on Saturday night, camping, and riding motorcycles and snow machines. Above all she loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter; Karen Ann Hill Keller, of Rigby, sons; Kevin Doyle Hill, Bryce Todd Hill, and Brian Lee Hill, grandsons; Richard James Keller, Andrew Stephen Hill, great-granddaughter; Macy Lynn Hill, and great-grandsons; Joshua Doil Keller, Alexander James Paynter and Tatum Boyack, all of Idaho Falls. And Lloyd Thorbergson, of Idaho falls, her best friend and companion for the last 19 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Janice Reneau and brother, Wayne Reneau.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Ashton Cemetery.
