Bessie MURPHY Dead
Miss Bessie Murphy passed away at the home of her parents, Thursday morning, Sept. 15, at 1 o'clock a.m. She died of consumption after several months' lingering illness. For a couple of months this summer she was taken to Loveland, Colo., but came back the fore part of August. Since then she has failed rapidly until the end came. She was 20 years of age, her birthday occurring last Sunday. She was a graduate of the high school here, and taught for some time in the primary department. She was a member of the Congregational church and was very active in church work. Her presence will be missed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community. The funeral was held at the Congregational church today, (Friday), at 2 o'clock p.m., and a large concourse of people were in attendance.
