DAVENPORT - Barbara M. Tiemeyer, of Davenport, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Genesis West Medical Center.
Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Barbara was born October 28, 1933, in Davenport, the daughter of Henry C. and Alvina (Muhs) Hansen. She was united in marriage to Earl Tiemeyer on July 6, 1963, in Davenport. She was employed as a telephone operator for the former Davenport Bell, now AT&T Phone Company for 37 years, retiring in 1987. She loved bingo, photography, and "critters." She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Telephone Pioneers, and AARP. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Earl, daughter, Rhonda, and granddaughter, Stevie Tiemeyer, all of Davenport; an uncle, Melvin Muhs, Davenport; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
