Jessie Maurine Cales was born July 3, 1905 in Oklahoma to Jemima Rose Knapp Cales and Clarence Eldard Cales. She married Fred T. McCabe and they had a daughter, Mary Ann, born December 25, 1929. Jessie died at Valleyview Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma from cancer in June, 1979. She was survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Johnson, Pittsburg, Oklahoma, five grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother, Edgar Lynn Cales, and a twin sister, Bessie who died shortly after birth.
