Mr. Larry Lonnie Crosby, 68 of Blackshear, passed away late Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic Health System of Waycross.

Born in Blackshear, GA on May 3, 1944, he had lived in Pierce County for the last several years. Mr. Crosby was a retired Lt. Commander with the US Navy. He also worked as a construction foreman with ROC Enterprise. Mr. Crosby was a member of Ward's Chapel Methodist Church and loved to fish and hunt.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Odean & Thelma Louise Gunter Crosby, and his son, Dee Crosby.

Visitation:
Visitation for Mr. Crosby will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Service:
Funeral services for Mr. Crosby will be held at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, May 23, 2012, at the Ward's Chapel Methodist Church.

Mr. Crosby will lay in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
