She was born Jan. 3, 1892, in Rolling Prairie to James and Georgianna Shellingberger Harris and had lived in La Porte County all her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church. On Oct. 15, 1913, in South Bend, she married David T. Clark who died March 15, 1971.
