MERCEDES, TX. - Juan O. Davila, 84, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 7, 2009.
He was born October 29, 1924 to Jose Maria and Juliana Olivarez Davila in Sebastian, Texas.
His loving family survives him, wife; Eloisa Garza Davila of Harlingen, 2 Daughters; Leonor (Eduardo) Pena of McAllen, Lillian (Brian) McNabb of Pottsboro, 4 Grandchildren; Eduardo Rene (Veronica) Pena of McAllen, Eric Rolando (Jennifer) Pena of Austin, Enrico Roel Pena of Austin, Juan Enrique (Adriana) Guajardo, 6 Great-grandchildren, 1 Sister; Petra Davila Salinas of Sebastian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today, Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. with a rosary both nights at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 10, 2009. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
Interment will then follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas.
Pallbearers are: Eduardo Rene Pena, Eric Rolando Pena, Enrico Roel Pena, Juan Enrique Guajardo, Eduardo Pena & Brian McNabb.
