Taneytown, Feb. 4 - The remains of Alexis B Blanchard, who died at his home m New York city, Sunday night were brought to this place on Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held in St. Joseph's Catholic church in charge of Father Little. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Blanchard was a son-in-law of the late Joseph A Goulden. He had been a frequent visitor to Taneytown and "Glen Burn the Goulden house, near town, before the death of his wife and Mr and Mrs. Goulden and had many friends in the vicinity.
