FRANK GAGNON
Frank Gagnon, 85, a resident of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home who
formerly lived at 319 Niagara Ave., died Tuesday morning following a
brief illness.
Born in Two Rivers on May 20, 1883, the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Gagnon, he came with his family to Sheboygan as a child. He
married the former Minnie Messing of Sheboygan on Jan. 6, 1906. His wife
died in 1961.
Mr. Gagnon was employed by several local furniture manufacturers
as a teamster and worked for the City of Sheboygan prior to his
retirement. He was a member of the Sheboygan Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Niereta) Harpling of
Sheboygan and a son, Franklin, of St. Paul, Minn; three grandchildren;
and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a grandchild and
eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the
Ballhorn Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Jerald W. Baker, pastor of the
First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn
Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 4 p.m. Friday.
