Mary Elizabeth Booth, 69, of Cordova, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, at Cordova Health Care Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hodges, Rev. Otis Inman and Rev. J.C. Raynor will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.


Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home.


Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by Carter Lebrary Medders, Lillie Mae McCorry, and twelve brothers and sisters.


She is survived by her husband, James A. Booth of Cordova; daughters, Susan Inman of Cordova, JoAnna Burns of Cordova, Cecelia Clancy of Carbon Hill, Sue Mobley of Argo, Terrie Anderson of Morris, Anna Reeves of Hueytown, and Gloria Whaley of North Carolina; sons, Carl Hallmon of Florida, Michael Hallmon of Tennessee, Jimmy Hallmon of Florida, Henry Hallmon of Atmore, Donald Mobley of Cordova, Andrew Clancy of Bessemer, and Joseph Clancy of Carbon Hill; sisters, Audrey Reynolds of Washington, and Yvonne Westwood of California; brothers, Clarence Edward Medders of Cordova, and Leon Medders of Jasper; 42 grandchildren and 38 great granchildren.


Pallbearers will be Joseph Clancy, Greg Alexander, Kenny Webb and Kenny Brunner.
