Mrs. Polasek, who had been a resident of Retama Manor, passed away at Fayette Memorial Hospital Saturday, 12 days before she would have attained her 86th birthday anniversary.
She was born at Rutersville on July 5, 1887, daughter of Karel and Paulina Adamcik Chovanec, and married Mr. Polasek at Fayetteville in October 1903. Mr. Polasek preceded his wife in death on June 7 of 1966. She had resided in the Rutersville community most of her life and for the past even years she lived in La Grange.
Surviving re two daughters, Mrs. Frank Holub of Rutersville and Mrs. Lee Roy Baumbach of Fayetteville; a son, Clement Polasek of Rutersville; 15 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-granchildren.
A family roar was recited Sunday night, Kingts of Columbus and Holy Name rosary is set for 7 p.m. this Monday, filled by a parish rosary at 7:30.
