Obituary:

John W. Crnkovic, 53, of Keithville, died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 8 a.m., following a short illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Crnkovic of Keithville; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Gail Procell of Zwolle; his mother, Mrs. Frazine Crnkovic of Zwolle; five brothers, Steve Crnkovic of Longview, Tex., Frank Crnkovic, Pete Crnkovic, and Donald Crnkovic, all of Shreveport, and W. A. Crnkovic of Zwolle; three sisters, Helen Byers of Zwolle, Jo Jones of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lois Sava of Fairfax, Virginia, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m., with Father Patrick Scully officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zwolle, for Johnny W. Crnkovic, 53, of Keithville who died Tuesday at his home following a short illness.

A native of Zwolle, he had resided in Keithville for the past two years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Officiating at services will be the Rev. Patrick A. Sculley, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Services are under direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Crnkovic of Keithville; his mother, Mrs. Frazine Crnkovic of Zwolle; one daughter, Eva Gail Purcell of Zwolle; three sisters, Helen Byers of Zwolle; Mrs. Joe Jones of Shreveport and Lois Sava of Fairfax, Va.; five brothers, Steve Crnkovic of Longview, Texas, W.A. Crnkovic of Zwolle, Frank, Pete and Donald Crnkovic, all of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.
