ReDella Stoppelman
ReDella Dessie Stoppelman, 88 of Buffalo died Saturday at the Buffalo Hospital.
She was born on November 18, 1915 in Chatham Township the daughter of Forrest A. "Art" and Marie "Mae" Behrenbrinker Jewett.
On September 19, 1934 ReDella Jewett and Arthur Stoppelman were joined in holy marriage in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with five children.
ReDella house cleaned for several Buffalo families for many years.
She was a faithful member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo.
Survived by children Darryl (Pat) Stoppelman of Buffalo, Cleone (Don) Mooney of Maple Lake, Glynette "Net" Cleveland of Big Lake, Loren (Bea) Stoppelman of Maple Lake and Ardys (Allen) Buskey of Buffalo; twenty-three grandchildren; fifty-two great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law Hazel Spike, Doris Stoppelman and Carl (Beulah) Stoppelman; a cousin Lillabelle Behrenbrinker; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Arthur Stoppelman on December 1, 1981; a grandson Rory L. "Slugger" Stoppelman; son-in-law Roger Cleveland; sister Muriel Cardinal; nephews and nieces Garryl Cardinal killed in action in Vietnam, Marvin Payne who died in an auto accident, Leo Payne, Gordon Payne, twin Payne daughters who died in infancy and Roland Payne, and a great nephew Dennis Babatz.
Funeral services for ReDella Stoppelman will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastors Christian Bode and James Disney will officiate and interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends called on Wednesday, Mar. 10 from 4-9 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A prayer service was held at 8:30 p.m. Further visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, Mar. 11 one hour prior to funeral services.
Casket bearers will be Jerry Stoppelman her God Child, Tom Stoppelman, Clifford Mooney, Ronnie Cleveland, Kevin Fussy and Perry Stoppelman.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
