Dorothy "Cheryl" Scott, 77, of Sheffield, died at 4:04 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at Kewanee Hospital in Kewanee, Ill. Mrs. Scott was born April 27, 1934, in Bradford, Ill., to Charles and Dorothy (Butte) Puffer. She graduated from Bradford High School in 1951 and also was a graduate of the Dainty Dame Beauty School in Kewanee.
Mrs. Scott worked for U.S. Ecology in Sheffield and also Kewanee Manufacturing in Kewanee. She retired in 1999.
She was a very active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheffield, the Altar and Rosary Society and Good Sam's Camping Club.
