Vocalist, Musician. She was the youngest member of the singing group, The Tucker Sisters. Making her professional debut as a child at the Texas State Fair's Centennial Celebration in 1936, Ms. Tucker enjoyed great popularity throughout her career. The Tucker Sisters headlined in nightclubs from New York City to Hollywood, and were featured regularly on popular CBS radio shows during the forties and early fifties. They also entertained the United States Armed Forces with the USO during World War II, and enjoyed a successful recording career. Though offered an individual contract with Metro-Goldwyn Mayer during the 1940s, Ms. Tucker declined to remain part of The Tucker Sisters trio.
