Mrs. Hayes, a resident of Rt. 2, died Thursday, Oct. 15. at her home. She is survived by five sons, M., J. F., S. M. and Guy Hayes, all of Quitman, and B. B. Hayes of New Orleans; six daughters, Mesdames Ola McCarra, Colie Ivy, Ruth Tucker, Maggie Burman, Emma Roberts, all of Quitman, and Nolia Simpson, Stonewall; one brother, Charlie Mosley, Mobile, Ala.; 37 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Ralph McCarra, Bernice McCarra, Harold Lambert, Hugie Lambert, Hal Simpson and John Curtis Tucker were pallbearers.
Walters Funeral Home of Quitman was in charge of arrangements.
