Gerald E. Hoover, life long Lowell Farmer and member of St. Mary's Parish, passed away April 15, 2006.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Hoover; brothers and sisters-in-law, George, Ollie (Marion), Henry (Millie), Andy (Dorthea), Ernest and Leo (Maxine) and brother-in-law, Donald Powers.

He is survived by his sister, Catherine Powers of Jackson; two brothers, Mike (Pauline) of Jacksonville, FL, Jake (Peg) of Lowell; and close nephews, Jake (Sharon) Hoover of Grandville, Vincent (Lucy) Hoover of Ada, Matt (Kathy) Hoover; niece, Judy Hoover (Doug) Brown; sister-in-law, Beatrice Hoover of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Rev. George J. Fekete, presiding. Vigil service Tuesday 7:00 p.m. Visitation Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell and Wednesday 10 to 11 a.m. at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church, 402 Amity St., Lowell, MI 49331. Roth-Gerst
