Walter P. ""Bud"" Boxler, 82, a resident of Willowick for 45 years, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Lake West Medical Center, Willoughby. He was born April 20, 1930, in Johnstown, Pa. Bud was a truly gifted man and leaves many cherished memories. He enjoyed old movies and '50s music. He loved to tinker in his wood shop and created countless projects for those he loved. Papa and his wonderful wit and wisdom will be greatly missed by his beloved family. Please think of Bud and remember him in your own special way. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Lucy Mae (Jones) Boxler; the loving father of William J. (Julia) Boxler of Willoughby; and cherished grandfather of Houston and Joey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement V. and Ethel (Blyler) Boxler; and siblings, Betty Foust and John Robert Boxler. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Private family burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township
