Lewis Whitmarsh FORD was the youngest of five surviving brothers who were the sons of Cyrus & Clarissa (WHITMARSH) FORD of Cummington, Hampshire Co, Massachusetts. The family moved to Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co, Ohio in the late 1830s or early 1840s. Lewis married Anna Elmira FENN 21d 11m 1860 in Summit Co, Ohio. They had five children all born in Cleveland unless otherwise indicated:
1) Myra Elizabeth born in Tallmadge, Summit Co, Ohio
2) Harriet Fenn
3) George Whitmarsh
4) Anna Grace
5) Lewis Augustus

Four of their five children are also buried at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland. Their one child who is not buried at Lake View Cemetery is Anna Grace who is buried in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, Ohio.
