Hester Lee Cauldwell, 98, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died, Wednesday, May 15, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was a Navy Veteran. He was retired from the Civil Service and a member of the Amercian Legion. He was born September 24, 1913 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas, Logan County to Benjamin F. and Daisy M. Hoopaw Cauldwell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Della Rainwater Cauldwell.
Funeral service will held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Sory officiating with burial at Prairie View Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Cole of Charleston, Arkansas, Emma Fairchild of Rudy, Arkansas and Cathy Olsen of Mountainburg, Arkansas; two sons, Franklin Cauldwell of Ozark, Arkansas and David Cauldwell of Rogers, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.
