This was my beautiful mother.
She worked for my grandparents in the cleaners my family
owned. My fondest memories are the times I spent
in the cleaners with my Mother, Aunt and Grandfather. We
had so much fun there. Really was nice having a family
business even though it consumed a lot of time to keep
it running.

My mom loved having the family over for the holidays. She
made the dining room table look so beautiful. She loved to cook and bake. She made the best french toast I have ever tasted, and the most wonderful brownies and so many wonderful meals. We had so much fun sitting around the table all of us together, eating
and talking. My mom was also the one with the camera, always taking all of our pictures, but never wanting her
own taken. The pictures with her in are precious and few!
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, latch hook, cross stitch,
sewing, needlepoint and any kind of fancy
work as she called it. She made so many beautiful things,
which all of us now treasure! A lot of her pictures were on my grandparents walls in their house. Christmas, I put up the latch hooks and cross stitch pictures
she made on my walls. It brings back memories of those
special holidays. The holidays have never been the same

Her laugh made you want to laugh, and she had such a beautiful smile. Orchids were her favorite flower. She
enjoyed reading Harlequin Romances, bowling, and watching movies. She collected Salt & Pepper Shakers and State Spoons.

We had an apple tree in our yard,
which my mom made many delicious treats from the apples.
I remember how I wasnt always so thrilled to pick the apples up and then peel them. What I wouldnt give for those very moments now.

We spent our family vacations every year on my other grandparents farm and how wonderful those times were. She had the most beautiful handwriting, I have ever seen. Miss her so very much every day...She was a very special person!

She loved Elvis, Mario Lanza, Brenda Lee, Bob Seger, and John Mellencamp music, cats, dogs,
and the color pink...

Cause of Death: OVARIAN CANCER , a SILENT, almost always Lethal Form of Cancer.

The American Cancer Society estimates that 22,430 U.S. women will learn that they have OVARIAN CANCER this year; 15,280 WOMEN WILL DIE FROM THIS FORM OF CANCER.

My mom taught me to always say please and thank you...

Thank you my friend Sandy for sponsoring my Mom's page, it means so very much to me...
