Services will be held in the Greenlawn Memorial Chapel Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for Lucius A. Brown,86 2307 Lake St., who died Sat. in a Bakersfield hospital. Mr. Alton C. Little and Mr. W. R. Clark will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Brown was a native of Kansas and had resided in California 40 years and in Kern County 25 years. He had been a self employed farmer for 20 years. Mr. Brown was a member of the Church of Christ of East Bakersfield, and of the Masonic Lodge in Nebraska. Survivors include his widow, Bertha; a son, Nash of Bakersfield; a daughter,Mrs. Barbara Shoemaker of Hanford; a brother, Evan of Bremerton,Wash.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tom Spivy, Elba Hamilton, Lester Harris, R. B. Thompson, Lewis Hanna and Clarence Cox.
