Daughter of Col. Alton R. Easton, one of St. Louis' best known citizens who died a short time ago. Married George H. Plant in 1869. Of that union, three children survive--a daughter, Mrs. Harry J. McCormack; a son, Samuel, and another daughter, Alby, whose marriage to Mr. Monrow Horton is a fact of recent memory.

1880 Census shows her as the mother of Mattie D., Samuel, Alby E., and Rozel.
