Mrs. Lula May Reitzel

JACKSON — Mrs Lula May Reitzel of Jackson died Saturday morning at the Deal Nursing Home. She was 93 years old.

Mrs Reitzel was born Aug 9, 1883, at Marble Hill. She married Edward Reitzel March 10, 1907, at Marble Hill. He preceded her In death Sept. 8, 1969.

The family moved to Cape Girardeau from Advance in 1923 and had resided in Tilsit for 13 years. They moved to Jackson in 1954. Mrs Reltzel worked many years for International Shoe Co and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau.

Surviving: son, Edward Reitzel, Ellisville: daughters, Mrs Collie Shirrell and Mrs Cecil Vandergraph, both of Cape Girardea, brother. Gilbert Allen, Marble Hill: sister, Mrs. Alma Baker, Marble Hill; seven grandchildren: 18 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Service will he held Monday morning at 11 at Ford and Sons Funeral Home, Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Wayne Sullivan, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be In Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be members of the First Assembly of God Church.
