Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ellie Turner; one stepdaughter, Miss Velma Perry of Heflin Rt 3; three sisters, Mrs. Bell Gaines of Oxford, Mrs. Leddie Jacks and Mrs. Maudie Snider, both of Choccolocco; two brothers, L. O. Turner of Oxford and Jesse Turner of Choccolocco; and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Eldridge, Fred, Woodrow and Morris Turner, Franklin Snider, and Thomas Gaines.
The body will lie in state at the residence until time of the funeral.
He was a life-long resident of Cleburne County and a member of the Chulifinnee Baptist Church.
