Mrs. Clement, mother of Mrs. A.H. Moss, died last evening at the home of her son-in-law, Dr. A.H. Moss, aged about 76 years. Her death was the result of a fracture of the hip which she sustained two weeks ago by falling, although she had been in feeble health for several years.
Mrs. Clement was a native of Mississippi and has resided in Lake Charles ever since 1870. Besides Mrs. Moss, the only daughter, there are 3 sons, D.H. Clement of Alexandria, Eych Clement of Plaquemine Brulee in Acadia parish, and W.H. Clement of this city. The funeral will take place from the home of Dr. A.H. Moss on Broad street at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
