Mr. Isaac N. Alexander, a Venerable Citizen, Passed Away Yesterday.
Mr. Isaac N. Alexander, aged 85 years, died at his residence on South Church Street yesterday morning about half-past 10 o'clock, after several weeks' illness. Mr. Alexander had spent the greater part of his life in Sharon, moving to the city from there only two or three months ago. He was one of the most venerable and highly esteemed citizens of Sharon. For years he was an elder in the Sharon Church and his walk in life was that of an honest man and exemplary Christian. Deceased was the father of the late Sheriff Alexander, and of Cyrus Alexander and of Isaac, Jr.
The funeral will be held at the house this morning at 10 o'clock, by Rev. Parks, assisted by Rev. Edward Mack. The interment will be at Sharon. The pall-bearers will be the elders of Sharon Church.
