Funeral Services Friday For Charlie Dycus

Funeral Services for Charlie Richard Dycus, aged 55, who died at his residence at 224 Lauderdale Street Thursday Night at 7:20 o'clock, will be held from the residence Friday Afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev F. J. Harrell, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Internment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Dycus had been employed as night engineer for the Dyersburg Water and Light Plant for fourteen years. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy several weeks ago
and had been ill since that time. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife: Mrs. Mary Lou Dycus; one daughter: Virginia; five sons: Lloyd Dycus of Blytheville, Ark, Jeff Dycus of Trimble, Quincy Dycus of Dyersburg, Newman Dycus of Dyersburg, Clifford Dycus of Fort Benning, Ga; four
brothers: Andrew Dycus of Dyersburg, John Dycus of Memphis, Will Dycus of Crane, Mo, and Tom Dycus of Maxie, Dyer County; and two sisters: Mrs. Susie Kane of Yorkville and Mrs. Lora Cook of Atwood. J.W. Curry and Son were in charge of
arrangements.
