Mrs. Charles Wolf nee Anna Grosse, died Tuesday evening May 8, at her home at 472 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. She was 85 years old and had been ill for some time.
Born on Sept. 6, 1876 in the town of Port Washington to Charlie and Christina Grosse, she was married to Charles F. Wolf in Port Washington on Oct. 29, 1899. Mr. Wolf preceded her in death in 1961.
Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. Roy (Ella) Anderson, Port Washington; Mrs. Irving (Meta) Miller, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Floyd (Norma) Silvers, Port Washington; two sons, Milton and Charles Wolf both of Port Washington; also two daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Emily Kolstad of Milwaukee.
The deceased was a member of the Guild of Freidens Evangelical & Reformed church of Port Washington and the Pythian Sisters Lodge 58.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Freidens E. & R. church, Port Washington by the Rev. Christopher Boland. The body will be in state at the Horn Funeral Home Friday after 3 p.m. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
