Byberg, Dorothy Lee (nee Tarr) age 76, of Parker, Colorado, died Monday, January 9th, 2012 at Joyfully Living Life Homes in Parker, Colorado due to complications of multiple sclerosis. She was born on November 30, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to the late Chester Glenwood Tarr and Pauline Jones. Growing up, she spent time in California and Oregon. She attended North High School in Denver. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener and a skilled seamstress. She loved to knit and read. On June 8, 1958 she married her sweetheart, Richard Warren Byberg, at Central Presbyterian Church in downtown Denver. Richard "Dick" Byberg passed away on December 8, 1991. Together, Dick and Dorothy lovingly raised three daughters, Deborah Lynn Byberg-Reed (Rex) of Carson City, Nevada, Deanna Louise Byberg-Straley (Robert) of Parker, Colorado and Dawn Byberg VanDonkelaar (Michael) of Littleton, Colorado. Dorothy was a grandmother to four grandsons, Saul Byberg Reed (Jill) of Dayton, Nevada, Tyson Richard Curtis Reed (Maria) of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Richard Edward Straley and Andrew Warren Straley of Parker, Colorado. In 2011, she became a great grandmother to Preston James Reed of Dayton, Nevada. A private service will be held in Parker, Colorado. Dorothy Lee Byberg will reside in the Tower of Memories at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado near her beloved husband
