Mr. Ivan Louis Norvell was born June 12, 1945 to Thomas Oliver Willard Norvell and Daisy Mai Norvell in Davidson County, Tennessee. He passed away May 14, 2012 at a residence in Fairview.

He is survived by: sons Kevin and Jamie Norvell and daughter Beth Norvell; sister Martha Tidwell of Lyles; special friends and care givers Charlie and Bessie Owens of Fairview; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents Dudley and Sally Lou Frances Graham and David Leroy and Sarah Elizabeth Norvell, and brothers Thomas Carter, James Allen, and Willard Oliver Norvell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16th at the Fairview Chapel from 2-8 pm and Thursday, May 17th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 17th, from the Fairview Chapel beginning at 11 am with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinkerton Cemetery.

Mr. Norvell proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1965-67 and four years following in the Army Reserve.
