Penny S. Watkins, 49, of Cayuga, passed away at 6:40 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born March 22, 1963 in Danville, the daughter of Franklin D. and Rose L. Steeples Freed. She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, June Ellen Freed and Edna P. Woodard and niece, Amy L. Woodard. She married Steven W. Watkins on March 9, 1994 in Eugene, Indiana. He survives.
She is also survived by her mother, Rose Freed of Cayuga, Indiana; father and mother-in-law, Charles (Marjorie) Watkins, of Eugene, Indiana; two sisters, Evelyn Freed of Cayuga, Indiana and Sheryl Richards of Georgetown; two brothers, Dale (Loretta) Freed of Cayuga, Indiana and John (Dawn) Freed of Covington, Indiana; special nephew, Cody Richards and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
