Funeral services for Jerry Joe Juneau will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Interment will be held at Bayou Rouge Cemetery in Evergreen. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville. Mr. Juneau, age 59, of Bunkie, passed away at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria on Monday, May 14, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Vellemy Daigrepont Juneau and sister, Shirley Gray.
He is survived by his fiancée, Virginia Dauzat of Bunkie, former wife, Kay Juneau of Hessmer, three sons, Micheal Frank Bordelon, Jr. of Kentucky, Jamieson Mays of Bunkie, Jenus Juneau of Bunkie, one daughter, Shaun Juneau of Marksville, one brother, Jimmy Juneau of Bunkie, two sisters, Mary Jane Bordelon of Hessmer, Grace Andries of Baker, nine grandchildren, Taylor Dalmon Edward, Marie and Holland Bordelon, Jenus Irvin and Kaije Christian Juneau, Devin Ray Dauzat, Sophie May Badeaux, and Channing Grace Juneau.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5:00 p.m. until time of service in chapel on Friday, May 16, 2012.
