Elwin Weaver died early Saturday morning at his home on East Knox street, Morrison. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Reynolds funeral home, with burial in Grove Hill cemetery.
Mr. Weaver was born in Mt. Pleasant township April 25, 1856, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Diller S. Weaver. He was the oldest of four children, the others being Elsie, Edward and Maurice. The one brother Edwards survives, as does one son C. H. Weaver of Fresno, Calif. and one granddaughter, Livona Lindsay of Prophetstown.
Mr. Weaver was twice married, the second time May 29, 1907, to Miss Katherine Nosko in Chicago. She also survives him.
He lived in Morrison as a young man and moved to Chicago later, where he was employed as mechanical engineer for the Corn Products company at Argo, Ill., until two years ago when he retired and moved to Morrison.
