Duane's wife, Louise, and their son, Leighton, passed away after his death. He is survived by his daughter, Nellie Venn Griffin; two grandsons, Mark and Paul Griffin; five great-grandchildren, Teddy, Elaina, Brady, Ryan and Kiera Griffin; two sisters, Naomi Venn Haskell and Marion Venn Webster; and many nieces and nephews.
