Dora Reger, age 84, of Clare, passed away on January 18, 1994, in the Clare Nursing Home.
She was born on April 18, 1909, in Ionia, the daughter of Fred and Lydia (Kime) Lumbert. She married Roy Reger on December 24, 1926, in Clare; Mr. Reger preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Reger was a custodian for the Averill School.
Surviving are three sons, Christian L. Reger of Ft. Worth, TX, Donald J. Reger of West Branch, and Duane Reger of Lyons; four daughters, Arlene Rose Klein of Sanford, Vonnie E. Burch of Midland, Mable M. Barlow of Marshall, and Jean Benchley of Clare; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Elsie Johnson of Lowell and Fern Moel of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services were held on January 21 in the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home of Clare, with Pastor Chuck Malson officiating. Burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare. Clare Sentinel dated 1-25/1994 (Thank you, gladwin gal, for typing this obituary!)
