Jerry Bryant Russell, age 57, of Maryville, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, May 16, 2012, with his family by his side. Jerry was retired from the City of Alcoa with 27 years of service. He was a loving husband and father and will missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Mildred Russell; brothers, Earl and Elmer Russell; sister, Lillie Mae Hatcher; grandson, Kristopher Knight; niece, Shelly Payne; and nephews, Rocky Russell and Robert Allan Dunlap. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joan Russell; daughters, Pam Knight, Spring Tipton, Tina Hitson, Amy Fuentes, and Lilly Walker; sons, Joe Cole, Jody Cole, Jeff Weaver, and Neil Weaver; special nephew and wife, Randy and Angela Dunlap; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Johnny Teffeteller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Mary Russell, Arvil and Carol Russell, Martin and Margeret Russell, and Bill Russell; 15 grandkids; 6 great-grandkids; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Jerry's former co-workers, Paul Monroe, Grady Simerly, Willard Webb, Randy Slagel, and Mark Ross, for your care and concern. Funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
