Survived by husband, Don Robirds; daughter, Terri (Steve) Osborne; sons, Stephen Robirds & Mike (Rhonda) Robirds; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Marcia Ritchey and brother, Rodney Waring. Visitation will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 3 - 8 p.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, and Friday from 12 - 1:30 p.m. at the church. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., at Donelson Free Will Baptist Church, 3210 McGavock Pike, by Robert Morgan and James Forlines. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family & friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Free Will Baptist International Missions of The Donelson Fellowship. Carol and her husband Don, served as FWB missionaries in Brazil from 1964 to 1971, when Don was asked to join the office staff in Nashville as Dir. of Communications.
Carol served as his assistant for several years.
