WESTERNPORT — Mrs. Minnie B Getty, 103, formerly of here, died yesterday in the Allegany County Infirmary, where she was a patient nine years. She was born in Piedmont, a daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine (McGovern) Berisford. Her husband, Joseph P. Getty, preceded her in death. Mrs. Getty was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert Getty, Shelter Island, N Y., and Carr Getty, Evansville. Ind.; two daughters. Mrs. Catherine Hartig, here, and Mrs. Consuelo Bowen, Hagerstown; 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted at 10 a m. Saturday in St. James Church, with the Rev. John Grant officiating. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery.
