Tami was the third daughter born to Michael and Doris Gorostiza on October 8, 1967. She was raised in Boise, ID along with her two older sisters, Toni and Amber.
Tami graduated from Borah High School in 1985 and Cosmetology School in 1986. Tami worked at several Boise restaurants as a Food Server, including Mandarin Palace, Cafe Ole, and The Macaroni Grill where she met lifelong friends.
Tami married Timothy Coleman June 9, 2001. She has two beautiful daughters whom she cherished, Hannah Christine Gorostiza, 18, and Dakota Rose Coleman, 10. Tami was so excited at the anticipation of the birth of her first grandchild, Tavin Michael Decker, in July.
Tami is survived by her mother, Doris Gorostiza; husband, Tim Coleman; daughters: Hannah Gorostiza and Dakota Coleman; grandson, Tavin Michael Decker; sisters: Toni (Kelly) Rhoan and Amber (Rob) Sims; special nieces: Kristi (Roy) Perales, Brooke (Dustin) Soshea, Jennifer Sims and Katie Sims; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.
Tami was preceded in death by her father, Michael Gorostiza; and her grandparents.
Tami was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Her charismatic personality, contagious humor, and smile will be greatly missed by all who loved her. We rejoice in knowing that this is "See you soon!" and not "Good-bye". Tami, "We will see you again soon and spend eternity with you. We love you,!"
A viewing will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 4pm to 7pm at the Cloverdale Funeral Home. A funeral Celebrating Tami's Life will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 2pm at the Cloverdale Funeral Home.
