Funeral service for Reverend Benjamin Franklin Addison, Sr. will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11AM in the Greater Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Dr. Kelly E. Brown, Jr., Pastor, the Reverend Henry T. Rhim, Sr., Officiating. Reverend Addison held membership for 45 years as pastor and founder of the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Alton Box Company and retired after 38 years of service.

He is survived by a devoted spouse, Willa Mae Naomi Addison; children, Benjamin Addison, Jr. (Bethany) of Miami Gardens, FL, Carlton Addison (Beverley), Quillian Addison (Patricia), Michael Addison of Orlando, FL, and Marvin Addison; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Reverend Addison will rest in the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 4201 Almeda Street, for the visitation of friends on Thursday, today, from 5PM until 8PM. Interment will be in the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday, May 21 at 11AM. Professional services provided by Holmes Glover Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc, INC., 4334 Brentwood Avenue.
