{{It appears that there is confusion on the correct order of the first and middle names here. On the divorce papers she had signed them, Candice M. Robinson, and as you can see on her headstone, it says Margaret C. Robinson. So at this point, you can use which ever name you choose to as her first name.}}

Candice Margaret/Margaret Candace was born to Zadock Stephenson and Esther Sweem Stephenson Richardson Co., Nebraska. She had 9 siblings.

(It was always my understanding that her name was Margaret Candace, however, it appears that I may have been misunderstanding. See below-per divorce.)

Margaret married John Robinson on December 9 1878, and went on to have two children, Charles and Birdena, with John Wesley. They moved on to Kansas sometime after they married, for they are found in the 1880 census in Rooks County Kansas.

Sometime before February of 1891, they returned to Nebraska. Candice filed for divorce on 4 February 1891, the divorce was final on 23 April 1891 in Lancaster Co., Nebraska. {On the divorce papers she signed them as Candice M. Robinson}
