Henry C. Frenzel, 76, life resident of Wilton, died at 1:15 a.m. today at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
The body was removed to the Griffith Funeral Home where services are planned at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. A. H. Bauch, pastor of the Grace Evangelical and Reformed church will officiate. Burial will be at Oakdale cemetery.
The son of Christ and Anna Hucke Frenzel, he was born Sept. 2, 1877, at Cedar Valley in Moscow township. His marriage to Mae Maurer took place March 19, 1914, at Iowa City. He was of Lutheran faith and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, two sons Clarence H. of Moscow and Raymond R. of Wilton; two daughters, Mrs. Ina Jensen of Atalissa and Mrs. Mildred Eickhoff of Muscatine; and one sister, Mrs. Kate Sullivan of Muscatine.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter in infancy, one brother and one sister.
