Catherine M. Kihle, 62, of
Columbia Station, died Friday
evening at Southwest General
Hospital after a one-year illness.
Born March 11, 1921 in
Columbus, she was a Lorain
County resident for five years.
She was a member of the First
Assembly of God Church of
Elyria.
Surviving are her husband,
Sidney A., to whom she was
married 40 years; one son, Jan
of Columbia Station; two daughters,
Miss Nancy Kihle of
Columbia Station and Mrs.
Beverly K. McComb of Fredonia,
Pa.; four grandchildren and
one great-grandchild; six sisters,
Mrs. Lillian Wilcox and Mrs.
Eleanor Tuttle of Parma, Mrs.
Bernice Fowler of Grafton, Mrs.
Mabel Young of Cleveland and
Mrs. Ruth Brandt and Mrs.
Laura Woike of North Royalton;
and two brothers, Elsworth
Grumney of Cleveland and
Frederick Grumney of Brunswick.
She was preceded in death
by a sister, Sarah M. Singer, in
last August
Friends may call at the
Wainwright Funeral Home,
Elyria, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held there
Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev.
Cole D. Brown officiating. Burial
will be in Sunset Memorial
Park in North Olmsted.
Memorial contributions, if
desired, may be made to the
American Cancer Society,
Lorain County Chapter.
